Christian Karma ???

First a disclaimer: I’m not a theologian or Clergy so these are just my own random thoughts inspired by some reading I did earlier this morning.

Usually one doesn’t associate the idea of Karma with Christianity. A simple way of stating the idea of Karma is “what goes around comes around”. This works as a more or less endless cycle. Of course this is an over simplification.

Christianity on the other hand is a religion of grace and forgiveness. But there are similar concepts in Christianity. I think a good way to put it would be that Jesus Christ by his death on the cross took upon himself all the karma that ever was and by his resurrection defeated it.

  1. Karma is definetly Biblical. The answer is that one will reap all that he sows. Its spiritual law. The way that a man will not reap wrong, (if he sowed it) is to ask for forgiveness and turn from the wrong. GOD can do what HE wills with HIS own. I would say that the Mercy of the LORD endures forever. One must reap all he sows otherwise!
